Danny Burke is an accomplished Welsh chef from Connah’s Quay with over 30 years of experience. He is a former captain of the Welsh National Culinary Team and Junior Culinary Team coach, representing Wales internationally and contributing to its success.

Danny gained major recognition by winning the Northern Europe heat of the Global Chefs Challenge, securing a place in the world final. He is also one of only two chefs to have won both Junior and National Chef of Wales titles consecutively.

He has worked in prestigious kitchens including The Lanesborough in London and The Chester Grosvenor, and has cooked for notable figures such as Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.

Now chef director at Olive Tree Catering, Danny is known for combining classical techniques with modern, globally inspired flavours.
