We’re Katie and Dave and we’ve spent more years retailing in the wine trade than either of us cares to, or can, remember.

After what can only be described as a ‘eureka moment’, where strangely enough, no alcohol was involved, we set up Black Dog Wine Agency, named after our first rescue dog Amber. New Zealand was an obvious choice.

A love of the ‘long white cloud’ developed over the years travelling to see family, getting married on Waiheke Island, eating, drinking and developing a penchant for long haul holidays and a fetish for campervans. Since starting the business we also now import from South Africa. What you’ll get from Black Dog Wine Agency (based in Cheshire) is great service from a couple who know the wines of New Zealand and South Africa, the countries and their people.
