Please give us the overall length and depth of your unit/trailer/gazebo, NB INCLUDING TOW BARS etc. with the side serving the public as its length. Oversized units will only be accepted at the MFDF organiser’s discretion and then at a price supplement.

All indoor marquee spaces are allocated 2m Height x 2m Width with a length of 3m

It is a condition of participating in the MFDF that exhibitors are conversant with, and abide by the Food Safety [General Food 1965 Regulations 1965 and the Food Safety [Temperature Control] Regulations 1995 and other subsequent controls It is also a condition that all equipment used in the Festival has a current PAT certificate under regulation 4, 5 and 6 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. This applies to all equipment and cables. Exhibitors must comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 as well as all relevant Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations. Record of Fire Safety Risk Assessment

In order to comply with relevant fire safety legislation you MUST complete a Fire Risk Assessment for your stall or unit. The Risk Assessment needs to identify the fire hazards and persons at risk, you must endeavour to remove or reduce these risks and protect people from fire. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in you being removed from the site. You must be able to answer YES to the following questions. This signed and completed form must be maintained available for inspection by the Fire & Rescue Service/Event Organiser/Council Officers at all times. You must undertake a Fire Risk Assessment for your unit, which must be suitable for the circumstances. You do not need to use this form, and may use another method if you wish, however, this form is considered to be suitable for most standard festival stalls and units. All equipment brought on site must meet all safety standards and (where relevant) be PAT tested - Safety inspections will be completed throughout the weekend by the Local Authority to ensure all exhibitors comply with safety standards. Failure(s) to abide by this policy will result in action guided by the relevant enforcement body. No refunds will be issued as a result of not adhering to our safety policies.

If you are a micro business exhibiting indoors that is not registered for VAT please contact us as we may be able to offer you a discount.

As we have had to register for VAT this year we are offering discretionary discounts to small micro businesses that are NOT VAT registered as a goodwill gesture. Any discounts are considered on a per-business basis and a member of the team will contact you to discuss this further.
